I remember the day I realized I loved to draw. We were given a pencil and a piece of paper and told to go into the forest and draw a tree. I found a twisted old cedar tree and drew its roots and branches. I fell in love with the tree and in love with the marks on the paper. It has been a great journey ever since.
I studied sculpture in university and stone carving in Italy. I fell in love with texture and colour, and encorporate sewing, painting, and other mixed media into my work. I live in Ontario, Canada and am I mother, artist, writer and teacher.
